Friday’s day program: the Dome

Morning yoga – a gentle flow

Kadri Tarus
Fr at 11:15 – 12:30

Kadri is a dance and yoga teacher born and raised in Saaremaa. Through a personal need to heal her back and a desire to find herself, she set out on the path of self-development.  Through this 10-year journey, Kadri has studied yoga in India, Australia and Estonia, and has become a certified yoga teacher (1300h YTT).

Kadri got inspired by her travels in Australia and Asia, and found her calling by coming back home and sharing everything she experienced. Today she teaches mainly Hatha yoga, as well as children’s yoga and organises liberating dance events.

During the I Land Sound festival, we take this time together to focus our attention on ourselves through the practice of yoga – we breathe, release tension from the body and align our mind with the desires of the soul. Come journey with Kadri!

Grounding, Breathwork, and Qigong

Juhan Mikkor
Fr at 12:30 – 14:00

In the first part, we do a grounding meditation, during which we create a strong connection with our roots and the earth, and then we focus upwards to resonate together in a unified energy. In the second part, we have a gentle breathwork journey where you can safely relax and be fully present, diving deep into yourself. In the third part, we practice qigong, where movement and breathing lead us into complete resonance, releasing accumulated tensions in the body, bringing a good feeling, and recharging us with fresh energy.

Tribal bliss: Ecstatic dance meets afro sound

Paula & Rauno Vaher
Fr at 14:00 – 15:30

The daytime dance sound guide Paula takes you on an ecstatic journey, uniting body, soul, and spirit, encouraging all rhythmically moving beings in the shared space to surrender to the freedom of self-expression and introspection.

Yoga Nidra

Helina Kibar (500 RYT)
Fr at 15:30 – 16:30

Yoga has been part of Helina’s life for 11 years,  she has taught both in Estonia and abroad. In the early years she was more interested in physical practice, but now, she has become more fascinated by the harmony of body and mind. Her practice is characterized by fluidity – how the body moves with breath and the mind is quiet in the present moment. As a teacher, she is authentic and teaches what she believes in and what she practices herself. Yoga has taught her the natural course of life: everything has a time and place to change – you just have to give yourself the chance to try. At some point, you will discover that everything worked out, or if things go differently, it was not meant for you.

Yoga Nidra (Yogic Sleep) is a guided meditation technique that unlocks a deep state of relaxation, bringing your body and mind to a place of peace. It is proven that it will give you deep rest in a short period of time, but unlike sleep, you remain conscious while lying down. After yoga nidra your body and mind feel fresh and you are ready to go again!
