This year our local Kuressaare Hospital celebrates its 200th birthday and we are thrilled to commemorate this remarkable occasion with them. The hospital will provide ambulance crews who offer medical services at our gathering in July, and as a token of our gratitude we gave Kuressaare Hospital free passes to I Land Sound 2024 to thank the wonderful healthcare workers of our island.
This is an important collaboration that helps draw attention to the difficult situation in the healthcare field and recognize the people who, despite difficult circumstances, do this extremely responsible work every day. Having a hospital in Saaremaa might seem self-evident, but in reality things are rather complicated – the times in the field of healthcare are difficult and the hospital faces many challenges, including limited funding and the lack of specialists.
The CEO of SA Kuressaare Haigla Toetusfond Siiri Rannama welcomes this collaboration as an opportunity to remind the public that it’s the dedication of the personnel and their sense of mission that keeps the hospital in business and the support and recognition of local community and the state are very important.
We would like to thank each and every member of the staff for their unwavering commitment!
