I Land Sound 2025 Art Grant

The theme of I Land Sound 2025 is “Day Eight” which encourages creativity and thinking outside the traditional boundaries. In collaboration with Tele2, we invite artists to create innovative and mobile solutions that carry the festival’s spirit both during and after the event. Our goal is to find artworks that are not merely aesthetic, but offer something lasting and functional. Through this, we want to create a unique symbiosis between art, technology and community.

We are looking for artists, whose creations are visually pleasing, have a practical use and a deeper meaning. The winning piece will be brought to life with the creator, giving the artist the opportunity to breathe life into their idea and showcase it to both festival visitors and the wider public.


Rules and regulations:

1. The goal:

To promote the integration of contemporary art and technology by providing a platform for artists to realize their ideas that support the festival’s core values ​​and enrich the community with innovative solutions.


2. The participants:

The competition is open to both professional and amateur artists who submit a portfolio and description of their previous experience.


3. Requirements to the work:

  • Compliance with the theme “Day Eight”.
  • Innovative and mobile solution that can be used all year round.
  • Environmentally friendly and durable.
  • Possibility to include telecommunication-related elements (not mandatory).
  • Feasibility both at the idea and implementation level.


4. Submitting the work:

  • You must submit:
    1. A brief description of the artwork and its relationship to the topic.
    2. A sketch or conceptual design of the work.
    3. A description of your portfolio and previous experience.
    4. The technical requirements and estimated cost of the work.


5. Evaluation criteria:

  • Relevance to the topic and objectives.
  • Innovation and originality.
  • Practical value and sustainability of the work.
  • Technical feasibility and budget realism.


6. Deadlines:

  • Deadline for submitting the application: March 25, 2025
  • Announcing the winner: March 26, 2025
  • Creation of the artwork: April – July, 2025.


7. The prize:

The winner of the art grant will be given the opportunity to create the artwork in collaboration with I Land Sound and Tele2. In addition to the prize money of 1,000 euros, the winner will have a unique opportunity to introduce their creation to an international audience.
