Morning yoga – a gentle flow
Kadri Tarus
Fr at 11:15 – 12:30
Kadri is a dance and yoga teacher born and raised in Saaremaa. Through a personal need to heal her back and a desire to find herself, she set out on the path of self-development. Through this 10-year journey, Kadri has studied yoga in India, Australia and Estonia, and has become a certified yoga teacher (1300h YTT).
Kadri got inspired by her travels in Australia and Asia, and found her calling by coming back home and sharing everything she experienced. Today she teaches mainly Hatha yoga, as well as children’s yoga and organises liberating dance events.
During the I Land Sound festival, we take this time together to focus our attention on ourselves through the practice of yoga – we breathe, release tension from the body and align our mind with the desires of the soul. Come journey with Kadri!
Grounding, Breathwork, and Qigong
Juhan Mikkor & Ivo Malm
FRI at 12:30 – 14:00
The practice begins with a grounding meditation to establish a deep connection with the Earth and our roots. From this solid foundation, we gently shift our focus upward, expanding into higher realms and tuning into a shared energetic field.
Next, we move into a light breath journey – a safe and supportive space for deep relaxation and presence. This is an invitation to dive within, release tension, and reconnect with your inner stillness.
In the final part, we practice Qigong – a harmonious flow of movement and conscious breathing that brings the body and mind into resonance. This gentle practice helps to release accumulated tension, awaken energy flow, and leave you feeling refreshed, centered, and revitalized.
Tanz/Dance
Ivo Malm, Juhan Mikkor, Mirjam Aru and Martin-Ott Sülla
FRI at 14:00 – 15:30
Dome’s daily dance will be a progressive journey, which already begins with the previous part of the program, namely Grounding, Breathing and Qigong, guided by Juhan Mikkor.
Together we will create a common journey where, through various practices and accompanied by music, we will put all our thoughts on pause for a moment to experience which direction our body wants to move the most at the moment. In addition to Ivo and Juhan, Mirjam Aru will join us on vocals to give softness and fluidity to the movement with her voice at the right moments, and Martin-Ott Sülla on drums and percussions to enrich the co-creation with live beats and sounds.
While grounding and breathing bring us to the present moment, then in qigong we allow ourselves to move and the music begins to quietly but captivatingly pick up the pace. We will smoothly move over to the dance, where in an increasingly progressive key, the dance steps and techniques become increasingly spontaneous, just as the body’s wisdom guides us at the moment. It may happen that at one point the tension and vibration in the Dome will grow so high that both feet will leave the ground.
If we have been flying on the faster tracks for a while, we can expect a slowdown to the music so that we can feel the growing sizzle and vitality in our bodies just by being there. If you have not experienced this before, it is worth coming for that reason alone. By speeding up and slowing down in this way, we will move a few times so that we can perceive the balance of doing and being and the euphoric state that can arise from it.
If you want to have the full experience, please join us at 12:30 when we start with grounding, breathing and qigong. If you want to take part in the dance only, then be there at 14:00 when Tanz starts.
