I Land Sound would not be possible without good volunteers. Each year we include enthusiastic and fun-loving people, who help our team and make the festival experience even more wholesome and awesome for everyone. Festival volunteers can be found all over the playground, helping out with preparations, in the food area, at the gates or even at the back office.
In exchange we offer an unforgettable experience and slightly kooky company, take care of your meals and accommodation, and sometimes give you clothes as well. If you are looking for a challenge, appreciate working in a team, are cheerful and have a go-getter attitude and wish to see the making of a festival, then apply to become a volunteer at I Land Sound festival by writing to vabatahtlik@ilandsound.ee
You can write to us in a free form and tell us about your superpowers, previous festival experience, the possibility of staying on the island and food preferences.
Did you know that you can earn your festival pass by taking part in the collective action days?
Each year we organise 4 – 5 collective action days, that take place between March and June and during those days we make preparations not just for the festival but for the whole summer. For us, the organisers, the Illiku islet is our home, and we are responsible for its welfare and development all year round. During these collective working days, we do landscaping, prepare firewood for the sauna, paint, clean, repair, think, invent, and get to know each other through teamwork, shared meals and sauna sessions.
To earn your I Land Sound festival pass, we expect you to contribute 24h of your time. You can complete it over one long weekend or divide it over several collective action days. If you come up short with a few hours, then know that you can also finish your work just before the festival, or at a suitable time before or after the festival. We are flexible and incredibly grateful, if you contribute to the development and well-being of our home and festival site.
We’ll share the dates of collective action days in the early spring on our website and social media.
